Restore Your Youthful Look

Dermal fillers are injectables designed to help reverse the appearance of lost subcutaneous fat that happens in the face as we age. This loss of fat is what creates a sunken, tired look for many people because it causes the facial muscles to work closer to the skin's surface. As a result of the loss of volume, lines, and wrinkles become more prominent.

Dermal fillers include a natural substance found in the body known as hyaluronic acid that “plump up" the face to restore a youthful, full look.

What Does Xeomin Treat?

Xeomin is almost exclusively used to treat glabellar lines that show up as deep frown lines between your eyebrows. While some patients see a drastic softening of these lines, others will see them disappear completely.

How Long Does Xeomin Take to Work?

Xeomin results take between a week and a month to take full effect.

How Long Does Xeomin Last?

Most people see results for three months.

Is It True That Xeomin Is Cleaner Than Botox?

This is somewhat true. Xeomin doesn't contain the additive proteins that are used in the formulation for Botox.

Dermal Fillers

Fillers add volume under the surface of the skin to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles. They are also used to fill lines and increase volume in cheeks and lips. Coined "The Liquid Facelift," Dr. Schacher is able to create overall facial rejuvenation and take years off your appearance. By combining different types of dermal fillers with the use of facial muscle relaxers, Dr. Schacher is able to achieve many of the beauty enhancing benefits of a surgical facelift without the surgical risks and downtime.

How to Minimize Bruising With Injectable, Laser and Surgical Procedures

  • Do not take aspirin (Anacin or Bufferin) or aspirin-like anti-inflammatories called NSAIDs such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin or Nuprin) or naproxen (Naprosyn or Aleve) 1-2 weeks before and 1 week after your procedure.
  • These medications promote bleeding and bruising. Check the labels of all your medications, even those that you purchase without a doctor’s prescription, to be sure you are not taking any aspirin or aspirin-like substances.
  • Always consult your physician to make sure it is safe for you to stop taking any of your prescribed medications.
  • Also avoiding herbal remedies for 1 - 2 weeks prior to your procedure such as
  • Alcohol and wine, fish oil, flaxseed oil, gingko, St. John’s wart, vitamin E, cayenne, quahog, echinacea, ephedra, fever feed, garlic, ginger, ginseng, goldenrod, kava kava, licorice, saw palmetto, vitamin C, omega complexes, and valerian blood thinners will also help lessen bruising.
